The gold route

The discovery of gold in northwest of Spain was for the Romans reason to conquer the area and found villages. The old Roman mines in the Maragateria are worth to visit. You can visit the historic villages in the valley of the river La Duerna. They are very interesting just like the mountain El Teleno.
